RHA had a fantastic experience today (12th November) thanks to The Primary Agency. Casey McQuillen delivered a really interactive, thought provoking live performance to both Year 7 and Year 8 students.
Casey discussed how to stay safe online as well as discussing bullying and cyber bullying, where to go for help and her own experiences with trolling, how she was affected by bullying, how she felt at the time, how she reacted, and the outcome of the situation.
Her overarching message was to focus on being self confident, standing up for your friends and respecting everyone around us for our differences. She also discussed a time when she had her own mental health issues, who to turn to for help and the importance of speaking up.
The students listened intently and enjoyed the music; they had a photo opportunity at the end of the performance and all took home a signed tour flyer.
