Each year to coincide with the students’ studies on ‘the use and abuse of animals’, we invite Phil from ‘Jaws N Claws’ into school with his host of small creatures ranging from his Madagascar hissing cockroaches to his Australian cane toad (which can grow up to 6 inches).
Phil regaled the students with his own unique fascinating and often-humorous insights into his own escapades with his insects, reptiles and animals, whilst also delving into how humans are destroying animal habitats and the natural world.
The students all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned how we can all do more to protect the world we live in and those we share it with.
We can’t wait until next year.
