Library Visit

Our Year 9 students have been visiting our local library; enjoying some reading, hot chocolate, marshmallow dunkers and quiet reflection.

Reading is a fantastically important skill for life; it is both practical and enriching. Regular reading will expand vocabulary, introduce new ideas and ignite the imagination. We encourage all our students to immerse themselves in reading. whether to pursue their interest, enhance their studies, unlock adventures or just for fun.

This week, those students who currently do not have a library card will bring home a form to get one and regular visits to the library during tutor time will commence soon.

The library is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and there are a number of activities going on there. For full details click the link: newingtonlibrary@kent.gov.uk
