Remote Learning - Upper Site Information

Students in Years 9,10 and 11 will follow their normal timetables. All teaching staff will provide a minimum of 15-20 minutes of live instruction during their normal timetabled lesson, in which teachers have been asked to explain the classwork being set, take questions from students and talk through where to find resources in google classroom or assist with submission.

As it stands the GCSE exams are still going ahead and so it is paramount that year 11 and 13 students are attending online for the normal school day. Many teachers in their subjects will be live for the full lesson time and we will be asking staff to call home if students do not log in and join lessons with them. With only 2 terms until the exam term begins, lost learning at this stage of GCSEs is all exam content and/or revision. We will prioritise getting IT provision to Y11 students who need it to minimise disruption to learning.
