Walking into Royal Harbour Academy Lower Site on Friday 3rd March, you might
have been forgiven for thinking you had wandered into a fantasy world. Celebrating World Book Day in style, many Year 7 and 8 students created wonderful fantasy costumes along with their teachers and support staff.
World Book Day lessons were provided and the day was rounded off with a literary quiz. As J.K. Rowling stated: “We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already.” Well done to all who added to the fun!
Here is what some of our students and teachers had to say:
"I had fun dressing up a demon slayer character" Summer
"Excellent day, and great costumes - especially the homemade ones" Miss Cross
"Great atmosphere in school and so lovely to see the effort that had gone into making some of the costumes." Mrs Stephens
"I loved seeing the teachers dress in their costumes and the form lesson we did about fantasy characters’. Anonymous (student)
